I am alive and well...

Hello! Hello! Just in case anyone still checks my blog from time to time. Summer has hit us at a breakneck speed. We have put a good size garden in and I have been canning and freezing and just simply trying to do ALL the things that don't get done in the school year. Trust you are having a good summer!!

Have you had any sereandipitous meetings lately!!

Hello! I guess I have to get sick to get caught up on blogging..... I have had "achy bones" for 4 days without a fever. I had it all figured out! (You know how we women worry) I must have bone cancer and had the beginnings of my LAST WORDS all figured out!! And of course who my husband would marry!! I think I must have had a low grade fever and just kept going. What's a mother supposed to do?
I know you are wondering how serendipitous fits into this? Have you ever noticed how some big words can be trendy. I had noticed this one in Dr. Dobsons letter and then in the Creation Museum in Ohio. I looove big words! It doesn't show my intelligence but the "lack there of". (I have to make up for it somehow) My grandma was a big word fan so I guess I get it honestly. Several people have asked for the saying that my "great" uncle made up after a long bout of word wars with my grandma. They would try to see who could outsmart the other with the biggest words until he told her one day.... "You insignificant conglomeration, misconstrued protoplasm. You characterized piece of inconvenience and if you think my language is too copious for your dimensions of comprehensions I will try to solicit it more explicitly" To say the least he won the word war and it has been used many times since. If you are upset you will be laughing by the time you are finished!

Some Pictures at an Authentic Mexican Resturant

We ate at the only local resturant President Bush and his wife had eaten in. The twins sat in the corner the President and Laura sat in. JJ had fun with friends Jared and Ben. I didn't realize I hadn't told the twins we wouldn't be talking to President Bush this time. They ended up being a little disappointed untill we talked about how much fun it was just to be a part of it.

The Christmas Tree Lighting With President Bush

We were blessed by a "dear" friend that got us tickets to see the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony in Washington D.C. It was BEAUTIFUL and very COLD!!! The family picture is far from perfect....because you had to snap quick. I still haven't figured out how to label each picture right so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Powerless

I have soooo many pictures to share. My power cord for my computer decided it needed a vacation during Christmas travels and still hasn't caught up with me. (In English, it got left at someones house) Hopefully, I can post by the end of the week.
